Commercial or Residential Estimating Portfolio - Project Takeoffs

Highmark prepares takeoffs for you on any project that includes landscape and/or irrigation. We do this all electronically and all information is submitted and returned via our website. For each Estimating Portfolio we complete you will receive- (everything listed is returned to you in your Estimating Portfolio)

• Complete plan review & electronic takeoff
• Complete specification review & notations
• Complete addenda review & notation (we also track for new addenda while we are working on the project)
• Complete project materials lists
  • Irrigation (piping, components, fittings, etc.)
  • Landscape project materials (areas materials {sod, mulch, etc}, linear materials {edging, concrete, etc}, counts {planters, boulders, etc}). In this list you will also receive quantity of fertilizer, topsoil, amendments, tree stakes, accessories and all other materials necessary to complete a proposal.
  • Plant materials (Trees, shrubs, groundcovers etc.)
• Copy of Any & All Correspondence (Architects, Owners, Engineers, GC)
• Portfolio’s will be completed and ready for your review by your requested date with at least a minimum of 48 hours prior to bid date
• Estimating Portfolio’s are delivered in PDF format and all materials lists are provided in MS Excel format for ease of use.

Submittals

Most commercial projects require "submittals" which are product data sheets, MSDS information and pictures of all materials to be installed on the project. All our submittals are:

• Thorough - We search the plans, specifications and addenda to compile the list of materials to be included
• Accurate - We include everything - irrigation, plant materials, plant accessories, landscape materials, etc.
• Professional - We use only "specimen quality" prints and pictures. We provide a picture of each plant material and the available product manufactures specification data. We have thousands of data sheets on file.
• Guaranteed - We are very confident in our submittals. If the submittals are rejected due to an omission or error we created, we will revise and resubmit for no extra charge and we will complete that revision within 24 hours (business)
• On time delivery - We complete each submittal within 48 hours. We install your company logo and information. We provide the submittal back to you three ways
  • Electronically - we place it on your personal page on this website
  • Paper Copy - We deliver the paper submittals to you via FedEx, UPS or USPS
  • CD - we also provide the entire submittal to you in PDF format on a CD which is mailed to you with the paper copy.

Redline (As-builts) Drawings

Most commercial projects require a “redline” or “as-built” set of drawings that are returned to the owner or architect. These are a set of drawings that indicate the changes in layout or construction that occurred during the project. You provide us with the original construction drawings (any format) and the on-site as-builts; we will return them to you in requested electronic format and paper format.

Operations and Maintenance Manuals (O & M Manuals)

This would typically be referred to as an “Owners Manual” It includes all of the required information noted in the specifications. It also includes the manuals for all adjustable or maintainable (controllers, valves, heads etc) irrigation materials, maintenance instructions, trouble-shooting guide and winterization instructions (where applicable). These are also delivered electronically via this website, CD and paper copy where requested

Controller Charts

This is a colorized controller zone chart overlaid on the original drawings and printed, sealed and mounted as per the specifications require. Information is delivered electronically via this website and CD. Mounted charts will be mailed.

• Internet - We have developed an advanced website that is integrated with our project management system. All our clients are able to place their orders and their projects directly through the simple click of the mouse on this site. Once projects are submitted, they are logged on their personalized site and they can check on the status of all projects, or access current and past information.
• Email - all orders are confirmed and all communications are completed through use of the website and email. This insures that no communications are ever lost or overlooked.
• Software - through our use of proprietary software we complete plan takeoffs, documentation preparation, and electronic viewing.

By using these and other technologies we are able to be a "paperless" company, our product is accurate, professional and very thorough. We keep our cost to the client down by being very efficient.
